Scheduling for Rising 6th Graders

We are now scheduling 5th grade students for their 6th grade elective classes. We are very excited to offer a variety or elective choices for our students. 6th grade students will take several different elective classes throughout the school year.

KCMS Counselors will be visiting all of the Waynesboro elementary schools during the first weeks of April. Students will learn about the elective choices available to them. In the days after being visited by the counselors, students will be choosing their elective classes while they are at school.

Students will be asked to pick 6 credits. Some classes are worth one credit and some will be worth more than one credit. The total number of credits must equal 6.  They will also choose two alternate classes that will be used in the event that one or two of their first choices are not available.
